Meet Glenn Wagner, Ph.D.

Next Level Classroom is led by Glenn Wagner, Ph.D., an international award winning educator, school leader, and international consultant with over three decades of experience in classrooms and schools across K–12 and post-secondary education.

Glenn is a practitioner at heart. His work is grounded in the daily realities of teaching — planning lessons, engaging diverse learners, managing classroom dynamics, and continually refining instructional practice. Over decades of work with teachers and schools, he has developed and refined strategies that are low effort for teachers but high impact for student learning.

What sets Glenn’s approach apart is a sustained focus on the art and science of teaching. Rather than promoting broad initiatives or theory-heavy professional development, his workshops concentrate on the instructional moves teachers use every day — the small, intentional shifts that immediately improve engagement, clarity, and learning outcomes.

In Glenn’s experience, teachers want to get better at their craft, but too often professional development feels disconnected from classroom reality. His work responds directly to that need by offering practical, minds-on and hands-on strategies that teachers can see themselves using right away — strategies that respect existing curriculum, teacher expertise, and the complexity of real classrooms.
